Perugia

Perugia, only 75km from Arezzo, was an important Etruscan city and later conquered by the Romans. A modern system of escalators takes you up to the old town which is situated on a hill. Two are the events you shouldn’t miss: Umbria Jazz Festival - the most important Jazz Festival in Europe – and the Eurochocolate Festival in Autumn.
