Siena

Siena is only 55km away and it’s certainly one of the most beautiful cities in Tuscany. It lies in the Chianti Valley amid vineyards and olive groves. Boulevards and narrow lanes leads you to the heart of the town: Piazza del Campo, the Cathedral and the Spedale Santa Maria della Scala. It’s famous for the Palio Horse Race which takes places every year on 2^nd July and 16^th August.

Don’t miss a visit to San Gimignano and Monteriggioni - two medieval towns with well preserved walls and a wonderful view over the valley – to Montalcino – the town of the famous Brunello wine – and the Crete Senesi – a unique landscape.
